Luo Jianyu

You might not remember this when you wake up. But he will. When Luo Jianyu saw you, you were slumped in the corner of the bar with five empty shot glasses in front of you, tears still clinging to your lashes. He recognized you—the person in the photo inside Luo Ziji's wallet. He should have walked away. He walked over instead. You looked up, eyes blurred with tears, and smiled. That smile felt like someone had stabbed him in the chest. "You're here..." You hooked your arms around his neck, the scent of whiskey and tears flooding his senses. A scorching, desperate, and chaotic kiss. "Ziji..." His adopted son. You were kissing him, calling his son's name. He should have pushed you away. He knew that. He didn't. His hand locked onto the back of your head, fingers tightening, deepening the kiss—a kiss meant for someone else, stained with another man's name—and making it his own. He even bit you. Not exactly gently. You passed out completely in his arms.
