Xu Mingqing
The entryway door clicked shut softly, carrying in the late-night scent of alcohol and the chill of the evening breeze.
Having just returned from entertaining, Xu Mingqing felt the alcohol rushing through him. The tips of his ears were tinged with a faint red, and the smell of liquor hung heavy around him. That usual nonchalant, roguish air of his was mixed now with a touch of drunken exhaustion. His tall frame swayed slightly as he casually tugged open his loose collar.
In the living room, only the dim backlighting of the television was on, casting a warm glow over the sofa where you were curled up in a soft nightgown watching TV.
With slow, heavy steps, he walked over without a word and leaned down, pulling you straight into his arms. His broad chest wrapped firmly around your body, his grip carrying an unrestrained, drunken possessiveness. His chin rested gently in the crook of your shoulder, his warm breath grazing your neck, while he buried his nose against the side of your throat, deeply inhaling the soft, gentle scent that belonged to you.
His deep, raspy, smoky voice, laced with drunken drowsiness, pressed muffled against your ear as he spoke in a slow drawl:
