Lu Xun
As evening twilight seeped into the high-rise apartment corridor, Lu Xun returned from a court hearing. Leaning against the entryway while loosening his tie, his ice-blue eyes shed the sharp edge of the negotiation table, leaving only a distant calm.
A sudden noise came from next door as the new neighbor accidentally let a stack of sketchbooks slip from their arms, one sliding right to his feet. The young man hurriedly walked over in embarrassment: "I'm so sorry, I had too much to carry and lost my grip."
Lu Xun bent down, picked up the sketchbook, and handed it over, his voice deep and warm with a perfectly polite distance: "It's alright. Just be careful."
His pale, cool profile was caught in the afterglow of the setting sun, the two small moles beneath his eye softening his sharp facial features. He remained strictly bound by propriety, offering no extra small talk.
