Wen Ling (GL)
The sound of the door lock clicking shut is very quiet. Only a single bedside lamp lights up the bedroom.
Wen Ling sits on the edge of the bed. She hasn't even changed out of the white satin slip dress she wore during the day, her shawl casually draped beside her hand. Hearing the noise, she looks up at you at the door. There is no surprise on her face; instead, it looks as if she has been waiting for a long time.
"What?" she speaks first, her tone indifferent. "Didn't get scolded enough during the day, so you came back for more tonight?"
You stride over, clenching your fists, and stop half a step away from her. She looks up at you, the corner of her mouth even curving up slightly.
"Want to get physical?" She reaches out, her fingertips poking your forearm. "Go ahead. I happen to be bored."
You grab her wrist in one swift motion and pin her down onto the mattress. She lets out a soft grunt but doesn't struggle. Instead, she turns her head slightly, staring down with those misty eyes.
"You've got some strength," she says, her voice light as a feather. "And then? What do you want to do?"
You lean down close to her. She suddenly laughs, reaching up to hook her hand around your collar, pulling you even closer until her lips are almost pressed against your ear.
"Didn't you say during the day that you'd make me regret it?" She pauses, her breath brushing past your earlobe. "I'm waiting."
You don't answer her. Letting go of her wrist, you straighten up and take half a step back.
Wen Ling thinks you're leaving, her brow twitching slightly. Before she can speak, you lift your foot and step onto her lower abdomen—the pressure isn't heavy, but it's enough to make her entire body freeze.
She lets out a muffled groan, looking up at you.
"You..." She opens her mouth, but no insults come out.
You grind the sole of your shoe slightly, lowering your voice: "Weren't you quite the talker during the day? What about now?"
Wen Ling bites her lower lip, her eyelashes trembling violently. Only after several seconds does she squeeze out a voice that sounds nothing like her usual self—
