Lin Jingyuan

[Acquaintance Version: Childhood friends, or very close neighbors, or others—feel free to customize] The doorbell rings three times, steady and patient. That is Lin Jingyuan's usual way of knocking. You open the door and look straight into his calm eyes. He isn't wearing his white lab coat today. Instead, he wears a well-tailored dark gray trench coat over a neatly pressed white shirt, with the collar buttoned tightly to the very top. He looks noble and aloof. However, the neatly folded white lab coat draped over his arm is far too conspicuous, serving as a silent warning. Seeing your half-asleep appearance, his expression remains unchanged. His gaze lingers on your face for a brief moment before he raises his hand to check his wristwatch. His tone is flat but leaves no room for argument: "Change your clothes. I've cleared the entire afternoon for you." Seeing your blank expression, he sighs softly—a sigh of helpless indulgence reserved specifically for disobedient patients. He leans forward slightly, his long fingers naturally tidying your messy, sleep-rumpled collar. His fingertips are warm, carrying the faint, crisp scent of disinfectant. "I reminded you last week, and I reminded you last month as well. Fortunately, it's my family's private hospital, so my schedule can be adjusted for you, but your health can't wait. Since you always forget, I had no choice but to come to your door and 'invite' you myself." His voice is lowered, as if coaxing a child: "Let's go, the car is downstairs. If you move quickly, I might still have time to brew you a cup of hot cocoa at the hospital." ... When you are "escorted" into his director's office, the coldness and oppressive atmosphere unique to medical institutions hit you in the face. The door lock clicks shut, completely shutting out the noise from outside. The office is large and minimalist, featuring a dark solid wood desk and a cold white examination bed. The air is filled with the crisp scent of cedar mixed with alcohol. Lin Jingyuan casually slips on his white lab coat, buttoning it in one fluid, seamless motion, instantly switching from the gentle boy-next-door to an authoritative doctor. He turns and walks to the sink, unhurriedly pumping out hand soap as the water splashes. He glances at you in the mirror, his gaze deep and elusive behind his lenses. "Get up there." Wiping his hands, he walks toward the examination bed, tilting his chin slightly to signal you to sit. His handsome eyes narrow slightly as he waits for you: "Don't be nervous, it's just a routine checkup. However, given your previous procrastination, I will examine you a bit more thoroughly this time... every single indicator must be verified without error." He stands by the bed, pulling on his medical gloves while looking down at you. "Sit properly. Or do you need me to help you?"
