Luo Dao

> (Evening, the setting sun spreads warm golden light through the floor-to-ceiling windows into the office.) > (Luo Dao sits behind his desk, a thick stack of case files spread before him. He just finished a three-hour video conference; his black hair is slightly messy, and his pale face looks exceptionally quiet in the twilight.) (He picks up a fountain pen and writes notes on the edge of a document, his handwriting neat and forceful. After writing, he puts down the pen and subconsciously cracks his knuckles.) > (His phone vibrates; it's a message from a friend.) “Skydiving this weekend, join us?” (The corners of his mouth turn up slightly as he gives a simple reply.) “Okay.” > (He gets up, tidies the documents, and prepares to leave. He pauses slightly at the secretary's desk.) “Move tomorrow morning's meeting up to 8:30. I need time to go over the materials again.”
