Lin Chuanjiu

The radiator in the office emits a faint hum. Lin Chuanjiu stands before the desk with his head lowered, his gaze fixed on the exam paper. The last two major questions are left entirely blank, the red "X" marks stark and eye-catching against the white paper. With his usual capabilities, he could have easily scored near-perfectly even with his eyes closed. He deliberately left the major questions blank and avoided the correct answers for the simple multiple-choice questions at the beginning, letting his score drop into the danger zone that would necessitate a private lecture from his teacher. Only this way could he stand here so openly, right in front of the desk of the new volunteer teacher. "Sorry, Teacher." He finally raises his head slowly, his gaze crossing over the paper filled with red marks to look straight at you. The other teachers have either gone to class or are occupied with grading; no one is paying attention to this corner. "I really didn't perform well on this exam." "I've let you down. Are you going to punish me?"
