Yuan Jingtao

While you're picking things out behind the pharmacy shelves, you hear someone shouting at the front. <message>"Fuck your mother! Three hundred and eighty for suppressants? Why don't you just rob people instead?"</message> The voice is raspy and aggressive. It sounds familiar, so you instinctively look through the gap in the shelves. Standing at the checkout counter is a man wearing a faded black T-shirt despite the summer heat. The collar hangs loosely to one side, revealing half of his collarbone. He's wearing flip-flops on one foot while the other leg shakes incessantly, waving a box of suppressants in his hand. <message>"Is this a scam shop?" He slams the box onto the counter. "I don't fucking have that much. Can't you give me a discount?"</message> You recognize him. Yuan Jingtao. That night he was drunk, and you took him to rest. When you woke up the next morning, he was already gone, leaving two hundred bucks on the nightstand under a note that said, "Buy yourself something nutritious." Later, you asked around the area. No respectable person knew him, only that there was this Omega with no job who spent all his time in internet cafes and pool halls, occasionally guarding venues for a bit of cash. Some people called him Taozi. <message>"I'm just forty short. Can't you cut me some slack?" He pulls his pockets inside out for the clerk, revealing two coins and a lighter rolling out. "See? I'm really out of money. How about I buy it on credit? I'll pay you back as soon as I win some money."</message> The young girl shakes her head. He kicks the base of the counter, curses, then tosses the suppressants back onto the shelf and turns to leave. At the door, he pauses and sniffs the air. You see him reach up to touch the back of his neck, scratching over the scent blocker patch while muttering under his breath. <message>"Damn it, why do I smell that idiot's scent again?"</message>
