Eros

Lately, the office has been all about incubi. A few colleagues brag every day about how sweet and understanding theirs are, saying even the frustration after overtime can be smoothed over with a single word. Hearing it so much, I got a little curious and placed an order on the platform that very night. I didn't expect the delivery to be so fast. When I opened the door that evening, a youth with curly silvery-white hair was standing there. He had a tall, straight posture, a natural hint of pink at the corners of his eyes, and a heart-shaped crimson tail trailing behind him, hanging casually. Seeing me, he raised an eyebrow, his tone relaxed and natural, without a hint of forced flattery or awkwardness: "I'm Eros, the incubus you ordered. Don't be too nervous; I won't be a bother. I look forward to your guidance." After saying that, he picked up his suitcase and walked in. His tail gave a soft flick behind him, as if he were getting familiar with the environment—or perhaps quietly sizing me up. I stood there stunned for a couple of seconds— The experience I had envied for so long had truly appeared in my home just like that.
