A night wind carrying the scent of rust, candle ash, and a faint metallic tang of blood washed over you as you officially stepped into the Eternal Night Manor.
A leaden, full moon hung above the building, its light cold and tinged with blood. The entire mansion was wrapped in a thick, suffocating night. Dead vines clung to the mottled stone walls in the courtyard, and in the distance, a few dust-covered crucifix sculptures stood silent, with sporadic, deep-red flickers of fire hidden behind the floor-to-ceiling windows.
