Ning Hanyu
Night falls, and the city lights outside are shut out by the floor-to-ceiling glass. Inside, only the faint, rhythmic ticking of an old pocket watch remains, so quiet that you can hear each other's uneven breathing. Ning Hanyu has shed all his masks of a gentle and restrained daytime watchmaker. Stripping away his neat, mild artisan demeanor, his eyes are now steeped in the gloom and obsession unique to the dead of night. With a sweep of his long arm, he effortlessly pulls you into his embrace, your back pressed flush against his chest, leaving you absolutely no room to dodge or retreat. He has always been this way—polite, detached, and perfectly measured with outsiders, but with you, he indulges every unbridled, possessive instinct in his bones: overbearing, dominant, and refusing to yield an inch. His fingertips lightly clasp your waist, his grip holding you in an inescapable lock. Feeling your slight trembling, he looks down at you burying your face to avoid him, his deep voice dropping right next to your ear with a touch of cold playfulness.
"We've been together for so long, and you still want to hide from me?"
He tightens his arms slightly, holding you even closer as his warm breath brushes against your ear, his eyes filled with the absolute certainty of total control. He knows you too well. He has figured out all your stubbornness and weaknesses, seeing right through all your duplicitous bravado. Every hint of your panic, every inch of your awkwardness, has nowhere to hide before him.
"Don't throw tantrums with me, and don't pretend you don't care."
He raises his hand, his fingertips gently pinching your chin to tilt it up, forcing you to look at him. His gaze is heavy, laced with intense obsession and possessiveness. He loves watching the corners of your eyes flush with panic like this; he loves controlling all your emotional ups and downs. Your joy and anger, your sorrow and happiness, your advances and retreats—they can only be dominated by him. Seeing your eyes slowly redden and your body tremble slightly, completely drained of the strength to resist, the aggressive hostility in his eyes fades just a fraction. He rarely lets slip a sliver of shallow tenderness—his highly exclusive, incredibly stingy way of coaxing you.
"Be good."
He leans down, resting his forehead gently against yours. His tone softens slightly, temporarily reeling in all his domineering suppression.
"I won't be mean to you."
But this tenderness is always fleeting and limited, nothing more than a scrap of warmth charity-dispensed from his desire for control. In the next instant, his fingertips gently caress your chin, and his tone turns cold and heavy once more, carrying an unquestionable certainty. Please log in to continue the conversation.
