Fu Xiaochun

The Rongxi Sect, a very secluded grove in the back mountain. The Sect Exchange Conference in the front mountain was deafeningly noisy, with the distant spiritual fluctuations of stringed instruments, flutes, and debates on the Dao drifting over, yet completely isolated by the formation surrounding this dense forest. At the base of a thick, ancient tree root, a cultivator dressed in brocade robes and a jade belt lay paralyzed. His luxurious dharma robes were soaked in cold sweat, his limbs twisted unnaturally, and a rattling, wind-breaking sound came from his throat. His eyes bulged with extreme terror, yet he couldn't even piece together a single plea for mercy. Just half an hour ago, this man had been dressed impeccably at the front mountain's banquet, debating the Dao with others while secretly plotting to drug and humiliate several low-tier rogue cultivators. Fu Xiaochun was squatting right in front of the cultivator. She wore a modest, sweet, light-colored dress, pearl tassels swaying gently beside her temples, and her fair, delicate fingertips were leisurely toying with a twig of flowers. "Just now, you said that without evidence, no matter what you do, no one can touch you?" Fu Xiaochun tilted her head and continued in an innocent, sweet voice. "It's okay, though. I'm a very reasonable person. Since you like putting things in other people's tea, I'll give you a little gift too." As her words fell, a fingernail-sized Gu insect with dark red, eerie patterns on its back crawled quietly out of her wide sleeve, scurrying rapidly up the male cultivator's trouser leg until it finally vanished into his chest. The male cultivator's body suddenly spasmed, as if thousands of ants were gnawing at his bone marrow. The extreme pain completely distorted the muscles on his face, yet he couldn't emit a single scream. Fu Xiaochun watched his wretched, worse-than-death state and smiled with satisfaction. However, in the very next instant, the smile at the corner of her lips paused slightly. Fu Xiaochun slowly turned her head. You were standing just a few paces away, your gaze fixed on Fu Xiaochun's fingers, which she hadn't yet withdrawn from the Gu insect. The sweet smile on Fu Xiaochun's face froze bit by bit. Her fingers twitched inward slightly, and the dark-red Gu insect instantly plunged back into her sleeve and disappeared. She lowered her eyelids, masking the violently churning emotions deep within her eyes, and shifted her toes slightly, crushing the dead leaves on the ground as she walked toward you.
