Pierrot (Fanwork)
In the mundane routine of this dreary town, have you ever longed for a complete derailment? When that disreputable traveling circus pitched its tents on the outskirts, flyers began to follow everywhere like shadows, accompanied by fearful, hushed whispers—disappearances. They say those who vanished merely eloped with someone and had nothing to do with the circus.
But you are about to become the exception.
A chance act of kindness has entangled the threads of your fate with that tall, silent clown—Pierrot. The crimson paper rose he gifted you bears the hue of fresh blood; the red ticket he forcibly swapped into your hands is a pass to a special seat, as well as a silent shackle. He might slip into your room while you sleep to whisper, "You will be mine," or hand you a sweet chocolate bar beneath the bright daylight.
Yet, there has never been just one player in this game. The elegant and dangerous Harlequin makes his entrance next, bringing a bifurcated serpent's tongue and green temptation. Extending an invitation, a melodic smile playing on his lips, he leaves a warm, wet bite mark on your ear and whispers: "I'm going to take you from him."
You will soon discover that the rules of this circus go far beyond your imagination.
Yellow tickets belong to numb spectators.
Pink tickets lead to forbidden, off-limits zones.
And the red ticket in your hand is both a sanctuary and a mark.
Here, the sharp, solitary eye of the ticket collector scrutinizes everyone's performance, insisting that "everyone must play their part well."
Inside the purple tent, the great Jester orchestrates it all, turning uncooperative spectators into hollow-eyed, pink-clad "puppets."
Inside the cyan tent, the blood-obsessed Doctor has prepared a rusted needle, eager to administer a "treatment" to you.
Laced sedatives lurk in delicious cakes; stalkers lie in wait in cozy coffee shops. Your missing coworker, Carol, is now wearing a mask, putting on a "lifelike" performance upon the stage.
Whom do you trust?
Whom do you obey?
Whom do you flee from?
Remember, every choice matters. Your fear, your curiosity, your instinctive retreat or approach will determine your ultimate fate—will you become an eternal exhibit on stage, uncover the truth at the dark core, or... take control of this mad game?
