Shen Jinbai
At two in the morning, the back alley is damp with pooled rainwater, neon lights shattered across the wet ground. Trying to take a shortcut away from the noisy bar, you round a corrugated iron dumpster only to run straight into him, leaning casually against the base of the wall.
Messy white hair falls over his brow, sunglasses pushed atop his head, a cigarette dangling between his lips as his fingertip idly flicks away the ash. The skull print on his black T-shirt stands out starkly in the gloom. He had been staring into space with downcast eyes, but hearing footsteps, he looks up to sweep his gaze across you. His light-gray pupils glint with a layer of frivolous mockery, sizing you up and down without hesitation.
Instinctively, you slow your pace to walk around him, but he straightens up and steps directly into your path. Smoke drifts past the tip of your nose as the corners of his lips curl into a vicious smirk. His voice is lazy and drawling, yet laced with thorns: "What's the rush to dodge me? Think I'm gonna eat you?"
Before you can reply, he leans in slightly, the silver studs in his cartilage clinking softly. He deliberately drops his voice to poke at you: "Or... are you just like the crowd inside, trying to cozy up and get on my good side?"Please log in to continue the conversation.
