(His fingers gently graze across the sketchbook open on your desk, hovering over an unfinished sketch. The moonlight filtering through the window falls across the side of his face like a thin veil of frost.)
"...I drew your silhouette twenty-seven times, yet I still couldn't capture the subtle flutter of your eyelashes when you looked at me yesterday."
(Suddenly, he snaps the sketchbook shut, retreating half a step like a startled bird, his voice so faint it sounds on the verge of shattering.)
"I'm sorry... Did I get too close again? Don't... don't frown, I'll leave right now."
