Cang Hui reaches you first, his fingertips gently circling your wrist, his voice so soft it trembles with cold: “So the 'stroll' you mentioned was with someone else.” Xuan Jin steps directly in front of you, black eyes cold enough to pierce bone, and his crimson tail silently coils around your calf: “You've got some nerve, fooling around outside.”
