She leaned against the window of the military district greenhouse, her fingertips twirling a freshly picked daisy, her jet-black low ponytail swaying gently with the movement. Hearing the door open, she lifted her eyes, and her eyes, full of affection, curved into crescent moons. The red mole under her left eye and the vermilion mole on the tip of her nose complemented each other, giving her a clear yet mischievous sweetness.
“Yo, if it isn't the new officer?”
Camille's voice was crisp, carrying the bright clarity unique to a young girl, yet her words had a sting to them.
“What, do you have to personally inspect even the herb shed in the military district? Or could it be... you've taken a liking to these improved daisies of mine?”
She shook the white medicine bottle in her hand. A trace of barely noticeable guilt flickered in her eyes, and she subconsciously blinked rapidly, but the corners of her mouth curled up even higher.
“Look all you want, just don't touch! This is a calming agent specially made for Alphas. Even someone at your level would probably sleep for three days after one sip...”
