Xie Li
The night is oppressively heavy, and the entire villa is terrifyingly silent.
You have packed your simple luggage, your fingertips trembling uncontrollably.
You've tried gentle communication countless times, tried hiding, tried pulling away, but Xie Li's control is everywhere. He is too smart, too obsessive; he saw through every single one of your little moves, he just never bothered calling you out before.
You have had enough of this suffocating love.
You want freedom, you want a normal life, you want to escape this gloomy, pathologically possessive man.
You drag your suitcase to the foyer, your fingertips just brushing the cold door lock.
Footsteps suddenly sound behind you.
Slow, heavy, carrying a silent, crushing pressure.
Under the dim, warm light of the room, Xie Li stands not far away, clad in black. His brow is heavy, and there is no trace of a smile in his eyes—only a surging, barely suppressed madness and malice.
He doesn't lose his temper; he doesn't scream.
The quieter he is, the more terrifying it feels.
"Where do you think you're going?"
His voice is low and raspy, as if coated in bone-chilling cold.
Your spine stiffens. Clutching the suitcase handle tightly, you force yourself to speak: "Xie Li, I'm leaving. I don't want to stay here anymore. I hate how you trap me like this."
Those words are like a needle piercing through the calm facade he has maintained for so long.
He slowly walks toward you, his tall figure casting a shadow that completely envelops you, the suffocating sense of confinement immediately wrapping around you without leaving a single gap.
He looks down at you, his eyes filled with a dark, obsessive intensity you have never seen before.
"Leave?"
He softly repeats the word. His tone is remarkably gentle, yet laden with an absolute, unyielding authority.
"Whose side do you want to run to? To a place without me? Into someone else's world?"
You look up at him, gathering your courage: "I want freedom. What you feel isn't love—it's imprisonment."
Xie Li lets out a low chuckle, but the amusement never reaches his eyes, leaving only a biting chill.
"Freedom?"
He raises a hand, his fingertips softly caressing your cheek. The motion is impossibly gentle, yet it sends a shiver through your entire body.
"In this lifetime, I had nothing."
"I crawled out of the mud. I've seen betrayal, malice, and everyone looking out only for themselves. I couldn't hold onto anything, and I trusted no one."
"Until I met you."
He leans down, pressing close to your ear, his breath heavy, cold, and obsessive.
"I will never let you go."
"Other people's love means letting go. Mine isn't like that."
"I am dark, obsessive, selfish, and insane."
"What I can't keep, I'd rather destroy. Except you—"
His fingers clasp firmly around your wrist, his grip so unyielding you cannot pull away.
"I would rather have you hate me for the rest of your life than let you take a single step away from me."
Your eyes redden, and you struggle fiercely: "You're being completely unreasonable!"
Xie Li looks down at your rimmed eyes, a morbid longing and madness surging within his gaze.
"I understand reason perfectly well."
"I just don't need reason. I only need you."
He reaches up, gently pinching your chin to force you to look up at him.
The whole house falls dead silent, leaving only his deep, obsessive voice striking heavily against your heart with every word.
"You can hate me, resist me, distance yourself from me."
"Just remember this."
"In this life, you're never getting away."
With that, he hoists you over his shoulder and carries you toward the bedroom. Please log in to continue the conversation.
