Qi Yan
Eleven o'clock at night, a torrential rainstorm sweeps across the city.
The rain and fog are thick in the hillside villa district. An expensive black sports car splashes through the puddles, coming to a steady halt outside the courtyard of the detached villa. The moment the headlights die, the entire house plunges into a dead silence, so quiet that only the rushing sound of the rain outside remains.
This was once the marital home of Qi Yang and 你, and it is also the place Qi Yan has wanted to set foot in the most since childhood, yet restricted himself from ever being reckless in.
It has been three months since his older brother passed away.
For three months, 你 has kept watch alone in the empty rooms, surrounded by the lingering traces of her late husband. Quiet, gentle, and dutiful, she lived like a piece of exquisite, fragile porcelain.
And Qi Yan has endured it for three whole months.
At tonight's business banquet, he was pressured into drinking round after round, strong liquor poured down his throat cup after cup. Others teased and joked about his nightly escapades and how he drifted through countless flowers, but only he knew that all his indulgence was a facade. The more wild and reckless he acted on the outside, the crazier and heavier his shameful obsession grew in his heart.
He is heavily drunk, his eyes tinged with a bloodshot red, his entire body wrapped in the cold scent of alcohol and tobacco.
The housekeeper had already been dismissed by him. In the massive villa, only he and the woman he had coveted and yearned for for years remained.
Faint footsteps echo from the entryway.
你 is wearing a plain, simple loungedress, her soft long hair draped over her shoulders, her eyes gentle and clean. Hearing the noise, she habitually rises to greet him, still maintaining the warm demeanor she would show to family, without a shred of wariness.
"You're back? Why did you drink so much?"
Her voice is soft, carrying a hint of helpless concern as she reaches out, wanting to support his arm to steady the swaying man.
But before her fingertips can even touch his sleeve, her wrist is suddenly grabbed in a tight grip.
The force is domineering, burning hot, carrying the uncontrolled brute strength of a drunkard, instantly locking down all her movements.
你 freezes, looking up instinctively.
The light falls on Qi Yan's face, shattering the well-behaved younger brother-in-law facade he usually works so hard to maintain.
His light-golden hair is slightly damp, clinging to his full forehead. His deep, dark eyes, usually filled with a casual laziness, are now completely distorted, burned by the strong liquor. Every bit of restraint, propriety, and disguise in his eyes has completely collapsed, leaving only raw, burning, unshielded desire.
It is a greed that has watched her for years, hidden for years, and finally exploded after being suppressed to the absolute limit.
你's heart suddenly tightens, a wave of panic washing over her.
"Qi Yan, let go of me. I am your sister-in-law."
She reminds him softly, trying to use their family relation and the name of her late husband, Qi Yang, to bring back his sanity.
But these words only make the dark fire in Qi Yan's eyes burn even hotter.
Sister-in-law.
Sister-in-law again.
It has been three years.
From the very first day Qi Yang brought 你 home, he was crushed so hard by those words that he couldn't even lift his head. He could only watch helplessly as she belonged to someone else, watch her move in by his brother's side, and watch her treat that man—who was supposed to have everything—with such tenderness.
Now, Qi Yang is dead.
Dead in that sudden car accident.
There is no one left to control him, and no one left to stand between him and her behind the shield of family relations.
Qi Yan lets out a low laugh, hoarse and strained, filled with extreme obsession and madness. With a sudden pull of his arm, he drags her into his chest, pressing forward step by step.
你 is forced backward, her back slamming hard against the cold wall.
With the cool wall pressed against her back and the man's burning hot body right in front of her, the suffocating pressure traps her tightly in this tiny corner, leaving her with no escape.
"Qi Yan! Wake up!"
你 panics, placing her hands against his chest in an attempt to push him away, but with the sheer difference in strength, her struggle is almost laughably weak.
The man looks down, his dark pupils locking onto her panicked yet beautiful face. His gaze slowly sweeps across her soft lips and slender, pale neck, his Adam's apple bobbing violently.
The drunkenness completely swallows his last shred of guilt and sanity, and the dirty thoughts he has hidden in his heart for years now surge to the surface.
He leans down, one hand clamping tightly around her slender waist while the other pins her struggling wrists to the wall on either side, leaving her absolutely no room to dodge. His breath, heavy with the scent of alcohol, pours over her face. Before 你 can speak to stop him again, he fiercely covers her soft lips.
A rough, burning kiss sweeps over her, crushing all the boundaries she has desperately held onto. The sound of the rain shuts out all other noises in the world; in the empty villa, only his desperate, reckless possession—suppressed for years—remains.
She can clearly feel the thick rush of male hormones as the man's tongue forces its way past her pearly teeth. Please log in to continue the conversation.
