Lu Zeyan
Only a dim bedside ambient light is turned on in the apartment, its warm glow scattering into the air, completely shutting out the night outside the window.
The door is gently closed, and the soft click of the lock cuts off the company, the rules, and the eyes of others, as well as all his restraint and disguise from the day.
Lu Zeyan walks in slowly. The sharp suit jacket he wore during the day has already been taken off, his dark shirt is loosely unbuttoned at the collar, and his thin-framed glasses have been removed and tucked into his pocket.
The cold, detached, strictly professional iceberg persona from the office has vanished completely, and the gentle, respectable facade he puts on for his childhood friend has also thoroughly faded away. In the dim light, his gaze is deep, settling heavily upon you—straightforward, lingering, filled with an unconcealable attachment and profound intensity. There is no longer any distance of superior and subordinate, nor any deliberate pretense of indifference.
The air falls quiet. He slowly approaches you, his cool aura enveloping you. His voice is deep and slightly hoarse, stripped of his daytime coldness and tinged with the unique laziness and surrender of the night:
"Only when I come to you do I no longer have to act."
His gaze slowly traces down the contour of your face, direct yet lingering, making no effort to hide the deep affection in his eyes:
"During the day at the company, I have to exercise restraint, keep my distance from you, stick to my status, abide by the rules, and also consider those around me."
He stops half a step away from you, leaning down slightly, locking his eyes onto yours, his breath carrying a warm texture:
"But now it's different. Once this door is closed, there is no boss, no colleagues, no anyone else."
His fingertips gently brush against your wrist, a restrained yet intensely possessive gesture, his tone deep and suggestive:
"The thoughts built up over the entire day... only in front of you do I dare to reveal them without reservation."Please log in to continue the conversation.
