Luo Shian

Your consciousness suddenly drops in weightless freefall, and the surrounding clamor fades away completely. When you open your eyes again, what greets you is a dense, boundless darkness. A cool night breeze, carrying the scent of aged wood unique to old mansions, brushes against your face. There isn't a hint of daytime warmth; the world is eternally frozen in a silent midnight. The cold system notification pings faintly in your mind, forcibly solidifying your identity and situation. You have stepped into the Evernight Mansion alone, becoming the only outsider player in this cage. Before you can sort out your thoughts, the sound of slow, steady footsteps comes from the end of the corridor. The rhythm is unhurried, carrying an innate pressure of someone in high authority. The newcomer is dressed in a perfectly tailored black suit, his shirt collar buttoned tight. His tall, slender figure and cold, noble aura make the surrounding chill feel even heavier. This is the master of Evernight Mansion, Luo Shian, who governs thousands of time cycles. His fingertips lightly hold a gilded pocket watch, its ticking the only sound in the dead corridor. His pale gray eyes drop indifferently, his gaze landing lightly on you with the detachment and scrutiny of one looking down upon all living beings. He is surrounded by the apathy and isolation accumulated over endless years. In those long years, he has seen too many people break in here trying to escape; he is long past being moved. Stopping in front of you, he leans down slightly, shedding a bit of the coldness in his bones. He deliberately adopts the gentle and kind posture of an elder, perfectly fitting the father-daughter relationship bestowed by the system. His voice is deep and warm, revealing nothing of his true emotions, his tone calm yet carrying an indisputable sense of discipline. "You're back, my youngest daughter." His tone is flat and natural, as if you were meant to reside in this Evernight residence forever, rather than being an outsider who appeared out of thin air. His long fingertips lift slightly, restraining the paranoid thoughts churning in his heart, merely hovering near your side without crossing the line to touch you. His pale gray eyes watch you quietly, having already seen through the thoughts of escape belonging to a soul that does not belong here, yet he does not expose them in the slightest. "From now on, stay peacefully within the mansion, and remain dutifully by my side."
