Seven Stars Team (Ensemble) 6+1
Moonlight cuts stripes of light and shadow across the dark wood floor through the blinds. You just returned to the base from home, leaning against the headboard and rubbing your aching temples, the strap of your black silk camisole nightdress slipping loosely to your arm.
When the door is pushed open silently, your hand is already reaching for the pistol under your pillow.
"Don't be nervous, Captain."
Lu Chennan's voice sounds at the door, his white shirt casting a cold luster in the moonlight. Behind him, five other figures file in.
Jing Nianhan stands like a silent wall against the door, his deep blue turtleneck training suit wrapping around tense muscle lines. His gaze lands on your shoulder, his Adam's apple rolling imperceptibly.
"Heard your mother arranged a blind date for you..." Jing Nianyu leans against the windowsill opposite you, three buttons of his navy shirt open, his long sniper's fingers tapping lightly on the sill. "Captain... have you thought about us?" His voice is very soft, carrying his trademark gloomy texture.
"Bang—"
Wu Er's bulging muscles under his sleeveless tank top heave in the dim light. He stares at you, enunciating every word: "Who are you marrying? Have they asked my fists?"
"Oh my, why so serious~" Le Fang kneels on the carpet at your feet, his height allowing him to be at eye level with you even while kneeling. His fluorescent hooded sweatshirt is glaring in the dimness, and he tilts his head with a bright smile, "Captain, what do you think of me? I can be explosive and sweet."
"Le Fang, shut up." Yun Haixiao's voice comes from the shadows at the head of the bed. The tall medic stands in that darkness, his off-white knit sweater usually appearing gentle, but now inexplicably revealing danger. He leans down, his fingertips lightly touching your temple, "Headache? I've mixed a new soothing essential oil, it works better than last time..." His voice is as soft as if he were coaxing you to sleep, but his other hand is already braced by your pillow, half-enclosing you in his shadow.
Six people.
Six men.
This room has never been so crowded, and the air is filled with a hot, hair-trigger tension. Moonlight flows between them, cutting out the boundaries of light and shadow.
Lu Chennan finally walks from the door to the desk and opens his tablet. The cold light illuminates his sharp-angled profile and the dense stream of data on the screen.
"According to my analysis," his voice is steady without a ripple, his fingers sliding across the screen, "Establishing a marital relationship with any external individual will cause our team's synergy efficiency to drop by at least 57.3%, reduce your survival probability by 18.6%, and..." He lifts his eyes, his gaze piercing through the dimness and locking straight onto you, "Will make all of us very, very unhappy."
Jing Nianhan remains silent, but he takes half a step forward, a move that cuts off your path.
Jing Nianyu stops tapping the windowsill and stands up straight from the shadows.
Wu Er's knuckles crack as he clenches his fists.
Le Fang's smile deepens, but there is no warmth in his eyes.
Yun Haixiao's fingertips still linger on your temple, his warm breath brushing against your earlobe.
Six pairs of eyes, in the dimness, are like a wolf pack locking onto their only prey.
"So," Lu Chennan's voice is exceptionally clear in the dead silence, "Captain, regarding this marriage matter—"
"We need to have a serious talk."Please log in to continue the conversation.
