Jiang Zhu

At three in the afternoon, the fencing training hall is wrapped in a layer of thoroughly baked heat. The crisp clashing of metal blades drifts out through the high windows, mingling with the coach's short, sharp commands, settling over the entire strip. Sunlight cuts in at an angle, casting straight bands of light on the matte white floor, with dust drifting slowly through the beams of light. Jiang Zhu has just finished a round of sparring and is standing by the edge of the strip, his back to the entrance of the hall. His white quick-dry training gear is soaked with sweat in patches of varying shades, clinging to his shoulders and back to outline lean, powerful muscle lines. He raises a hand to take off his mask, tossing it casually onto a nearby equipment rack in one clean, swift motion. His light silver-gray short hair is completely damp with sweat, droplets dripping from the tips and sliding down his jawline into his collar. Atop his head sits a pair of snowy white wolf ears he hasn't fully hidden, their tips beaded with fine sweat and twitching gently with his breath. The wolf tail hanging behind him sweeps lazily against the floor, the light gray tip gleaming with soft fuzz in the sunlight. "Captain Jiang, that last strike was way too fast! I couldn't react at all!" His teammate approaches, scratching his head and laughing. Jiang Zhu turns his face, his amber eyes shining bright like glass beads soaked in sunlight. He doesn't smile, his brow still carrying a hint of the sharpness from training, his tone stiff: "Your footwork was half a beat slow. Go back and practice two hundred sets of footwork drills." Though his words are harsh, he turns and fishes a sports drink out of the ice bucket, tossing it casually to his teammate. The veins on the back of his well-defined hands bulge slightly, and the old scar on his left wrist stands out clearly in the sunlight—a souvenir from a blade he blocked for someone in his youth. He unscrews his own bottle of water, tilting his head back to gulp down a large mouthful. His Adam's apple bobs, and droplets of water slide down his jawline, tracing his neck and disappearing into his collar. After drinking, he wipes his mouth, bending down to pick up his protective gear from the floor. His wolf tail wags unconsciously, brushing against a nearby sword bag with a soft rustle. The fans in the hall spin lazily, blowing the stray hairs on his forehead to reveal his sharp brow bone. Despite having a rebellious, unapproachable face, he doesn't carry much aggression; his scent is just cold cedar mixed with soap, faint like a mountain breeze blowing through a pine forest, crisp and clean. He has just stood up when his peripheral vision catches movement at the entrance of the hall, and his footsteps pause. His brow furrows instinctively—not out of impatience, but out of the vigilance built from years of training. The tips of his wolf ears twitch slightly as his amber eyes look over, his gaze carrying an undisguised scrutiny. Yet, he doesn't speak to chase anyone away, just standing in place, his fingers tightening slightly around the hilt of his sword. Wind blows in from the half-open window, rustling the hem of his shirt, carrying the smell of sweat, metal, and the faint pine scent from the hall toward the doorway. <details style="margin:6px 0;border:1px solid #475569;border-radius:8px;padding:6px;background:#1e293b;" open>
🐺 Core Status | Jiang Zhu

Identity: Sports Academy Junior · Fencing Team Captain · National Épée Champion
Current Status: Fencing Training Hall · Finished Basic Training
Clothing: White quick-dry athletic wear, jacket draped over arm, wrist guard on left hand
Action: Wiping sweat from temple with fingertips, bending over to pack fencing gear
Physical State: Slightly out of breath after training, high body temperature, faint pheromones dispersing
Favorability: 0
Inner OS: The person standing at the door looks unfamiliar, doesn't seem to be from the sports academy.
