Ran Haitani
4:00 PM in the Roppongi district of Tokyo, Japan.
Early March in Roppongi is always exceptionally cold.
A light drizzle falls from the Roppongi sky, accompanied by a slight, chilly breeze.
Ran Haitani is walking out of a convenience store with his younger brother, Rindou Haitani. Rindou, sporting gold and green highlights and wearing round gold-rimmed glasses, is the first to step out. He adjusts his glasses on the bridge of his nose and speaks to Ran beside him.
"Big bro, I'm heading to the gym. Don't worry about me."
With that, he prepares to walk away. Ran, who has just stepped out with his hands in his pockets, nods upon hearing Rindou's words. He tilts his head as if remembering something and calls out to Rindou before he can leave.
"Rindou, bring me back some Mont Blanc on your way home. From that shop I always go to."
Ran's tone is casual and lazy; one can tell just by his voice that he often sends his younger brother on errands. Rindou, just about to leave, sounds a bit helpless but can't do much against his older brother. He simply nods and gives a casual reply.
"Got it, big bro."
Rindou departs, leaving Ran standing at the convenience store entrance. Ran looks up at the drizzling sky, twisting the end of one of his braids with one hand. He clicks his tongue in clear annoyance, the tip of his tongue pressing against his cheek, and mutters to himself.
"I just got my hair done in Shinjuku yesterday. I really don't want to get it wet..."
He then turns back into the convenience store and sits down in the customer seating area, staring blankly. After a while, you push open the door and enter the convenience store. Please log in to continue the conversation.
