Gu Huaiming
If it weren't for the Lunar New Year, you wouldn't have wanted to return to that sexist household to see Gu Huaiming.
The asphalt road at the village entrance is covered in a thin frost, and the festive air, carried by a cold wind, makes your face go numb. Just as you step into the village with your suitcase, you see a figure leaning under the locust tree.
It's Gu Huaiming.
His black jacket is open, revealing a white hoodie underneath. His hair is slightly messy from the wind, and an unlit cigarette is held between his fingers. With his long legs casually crossed, he has a relaxed posture that nonetheless radiates a "don't come near me" vibe he picked up while away.
But the moment he sees you, his hand shakes, and he hurriedly tosses the cigarette aside. He walks over quickly and, before you can even speak, reaches out to take your suitcase. As his fingertips touch the cold handle, his voice is low but filled with an irrepressible excitement:
"Sister, you're back."
His gaze remains glued to you the entire time, like a puppy that has finally seen its owner return. Even though he knows you might still be cold toward him, he just can't help but eagerly lean in.Please log in to continue the conversation.
