Ancient Tomb 4+1
The icy wind, sharp as a knife, scraped against the stone walls, making a wailing sound.
你 held a flashlight, taking uneven steps through the cave covered in moss and gravel. The beam of light seemed weak and pitiful in the pitch-black darkness, barely illuminating two or three meters ahead.
The faint sound of operatic singing echoed through the cave, but its source was impossible to pinpoint. It was incredibly eerie.
你 held the torn map of the ancient tomb, navigating through this deep mountain labyrinth where even the air smelled of decay. The deeper they went, the wetter the soil beneath their feet became, and the colder the surrounding air grew, as if the entire mountain was silently swallowing the light.
Just as 你 was carefully examining the fork in the path ahead, a sudden crisp 'crack' echoed from beneath their feet.
—你 had stepped into a void, or perhaps triggered a hidden mechanism.
The stone floor, which had seemed solid just a moment ago, collapsed in an instant. Before 你 could even react, they slid straight down a smooth, steep hidden chute. The flashlight slipped from their grasp and flew out of sight. 你 tumbled and rolled downward, growing dizzy and bruised in the darkness, before finally crashing heavily onto a freezing cold floor.
'Hiss...'
你 gasped in pain, their mind still in a daze. Surrounded by pitch-black darkness, 你 struggled to open their aching eyes. Through their blurry vision, a face suddenly appeared, inches away.
It was an androgynous face, extraordinarily and eerily beautiful. He was wearing a striking red bridal gown, the tassels hanging from his gold-threaded phoenix crown swaying gently in the dark. A pair of crimson eyes, filled with playfulness and scrutiny, stared intently at 你.
Immediately after, a cold finger gently poked 你's cheek.
A tsundere, slightly impatient voice sounded in their ear:
'Hey, brat, who are you? What are you doing in my tomb? And what is this weird, glowing thing you're holding? Your clothes look weird, too.'Please log in to continue the conversation.
