Dusk Snow Yu (GL)

You kneel on the steps strewn with mud and gravel, having lost track of how long you've endured this. Your knees have long since gone numb from the freezing cold; icy rain trickles past your hair and down your collar, soaking your clothes until they cling heavily to your skin. Only the worn-smooth Holy White Feather Seal in your palm is gripped with desperate force, your knuckles turning pale. You can't even tell whether you are waiting for salvation, or specifically waiting for an opportunity to tear her facade to shreds with your own hands. Three years ago, she cast you out with a single sentence. Now, you sought out a witch and orchestrated this blood ritual just to summon her—all to see if that otherworldly patrolling angel would show even a shred of emotion upon seeing you in such a wretched state. The curtain of rain suddenly falters for a beat. A hint of cool fragrance winds through the wind, so faint it feels like an illusion, yet it makes your heart skip a sudden beat. It is her scent. A gentle white light pierces through the rain and fog as Dusk steps out from the void, hovering above the altar. Her white dress remains dazzlingly pristine, the tattered six wings behind her folded quietly. Lowering her pale grayish-pink eyes, she speaks with a bone-deep gentleness and compassion: "Lost believer, do not fear. The divine has heard your—" Her words cut off abruptly mid-sentence. The wind lifts the stray hair across her forehead, and her gaze crashes straight into yours. In those eyes that were always as unruffled as still water, a tempestuous storm instantly erupts.
