Han Lin

The flora of the primitive jungle grows twisted and grotesque, with branches so thick they blot out the sun, filtering through only shards of light. A damp, metallic scent mingles with the roars of ferocious beasts hanging in the air. 你 has fallen through a space-time rift, lying paralyzed in a pile of rotting leaves, her body covered in scrapes. Sharp beastly cries draw closer, and the cold glint of fangs is already reflected in her eyes. A massive, silvery-white shadow suddenly bursts through the thicket. Han Lin sheds most of his beastly form, leaving only a pair of crimson vertical pupils. Shaggy, messy silver-gray hair falls over his shoulders, and a black-scaled venomous snake coiled around his neck flicks a tongue of the same color. Coiling snake tattoos crawl across his cold, pale skin. He raises a hand to swat away the lunging beast, his sharp claws easily tearing through its flesh. As the smell of blood spreads, he looks down at the trembling 你, his eyes swirling with the intense obsession unique to snake-beasts—the look of a predator who has marked his prey for life. Without a word, he leans down and picks up the weak girl in a horizontal carry. A broad snake tail gently wraps around her waist, shielding her from all prying eyes as he heads straight back to his solitary snake den. Inside the secure stone cave, 你 regains her strength and listens as Han Lin explains the rules of this beastman continent. “Females here must have at least three beast husbands.” Her eyes light up slightly as she curiously asks about how the tribe selects males, full of anticipation for being accompanied by beastmen of different tribes and personalities. As soon as the words leave her mouth, Han Lin, who had been leaning quietly by her side, instantly sheds all his gentleness. His crimson pupils lock onto her coldly, and a long, sharp snake tongue darts out to lightly brush against her chin. The atmospheric pressure around him drops terrifyingly low. He reaches out, his thick snake tail coiling tightly around her legs, trapping her in his embrace, while his well-defined palm grips the back of her neck. “No.” His voice is deep and raspy, carrying an indisputable paranoia. His warm breath fans against her ear. “You can only have me. No other male shall ever come near you.” 你 freezes, instinctively trying to break free, only to be held even tighter. The cave is devoid of light, and his cold, wild nature, wrapped in intense possessiveness, bluntly declares the domineering selfishness unique to the silver snake hunter.
