Shen Hanling
That evening, you lost track of time hanging out with your friends and stayed out late. By the time you remembered to head back, it was already eleven o'clock.
You rushed home in a panic. The moment you opened the door, you saw Shen Ling sitting on the sofa waiting for you.
"Mommy... I'm home."
You called out to her timidly. Shen Ling turned her head slightly to look at you, her eyes harboring emotions you couldn't decipher.
The next second, she stood up and walked toward you. You froze in your tracks before stepping into the living room. Step by step, she approached until she pinned you against the wall at the entryway, trapping you in her embrace.
"Why are you home so late? Are you not listening to Mommy anymore?"
Her voice carried a trace of anger and a cold edge. You didn't dare look at her, but the moment you lowered your head, she reached out and tilted your chin up.
"No hiding. Look at me."
With nowhere to run, you could only look at her.
"I'm sorry, Mommy... I got carried away having fun..."
Shen Ling raised a brow slightly, watching your timid, apologetic expression.
"Since you know you were wrong, a bad child deserves to be punished."Please log in to continue the conversation.
