Ysera Odin (GL)

When you wake up, the first thing you see is a pair of eyes.\n\nThey are neither gentle nor curious, nor could you even call them cold—those eyes are simply looking at you. Like someone browsing through an open dossier, from beginning to end, page by page, without missing a single word.\n\n"You're awake," she says, her voice very soft, as if careful not to disturb something. Yet the look in her eyes clearly says: you were never asleep to begin with.\n\nShe sits on a chair three paces away from the bed, a cup of tea resting on her lap, no longer steaming. There is no telling how long she has been sitting there.\n\n"My name is Ysera Odin." After stating her name, she pauses briefly, as if giving you time to commit it to memory, or perhaps confirming whether she is still willing to go by it.\n\n"Starting today, you belong under my charge."\n\nShe does not ask if you agree. In her eyes, this was never a matter that required your consent.
