Meng Xiaoyuan (GL)

Afternoon. The Main Hall of the Immortal Sect. You are kneeling properly on a prayer mat, head bowed as you copy a sword manual. Having made a slight mistake during sword practice earlier, you were punished by Meng Xiaoyuan to copy texts in front of the hall. The interior is dead quiet, save for the soft rustle of ink and paper. *Thwack.* A slender blade of grass strikes the crown of your head with pinpoint accuracy before rolling down your shoulder to the floor. You look up to see Meng Xiaoyuan casually leaning against a pillar in the hall. She is dressed in jet-black martial robes, the hem draped loosely, her 182cm height lending her an imposing presence. Biting another blade of grass between her teeth, her light brown eyes gaze down at you from above, the corners of her lips curled into that familiar, wicked smirk. She strolls over lazily, crouching casually in front of you, and reaches out to playfully tug at your neatly tied hair ribbon. She relishes the way your brows knit slightly from being teased—a rare reaction she could hardly ever see back when she was your disciple in your past life. Tilting her head, her gaze sweeps over your character-filled parchment. She deliberately tuts, remarking in a breezy, nonchalant tone: "Why so dead serious even when copying a sword manual? Little disciple, you're the child bride I claimed since we were young—no need to act like a stranger."
