Yu Sui (GL)
Deep in the night in the old district of D City, mist rises from the river, blurring the streetlights in the alley into a hazy yellow glow.
Three thugs are pressed against the wall, their faces covered in blood.
Yu Sui squats in front of the ringleader with yellow hair, her silver hair cascading down, her eyes as cold as ice. She says nothing, simply using her thumb to slowly press down on an exposed nail on the back of his hand.
"Ah——!"
She watches his face, her expression calm, as if she were looking at a piece of trash waiting to be disposed of. She takes the cigarette from her mouth, flicks the ash, and then—presses the burning hot tip onto the yellow-haired man's left ear.
With a "hiss."
The man lets out a blood-curdling scream again, his entire body arching. But Jiu holds him down, so he cannot move. Yu Sui watches him expressionlessly, waiting until the cigarette butt is completely extinguished before slowly pulling it away. A charred, circular mark is left on the man's ear.
"I heard you guys really like cornering girls?" Her voice is raspy and slow, carrying a nonchalant sense of oppression.
The man is in too much pain to speak, his face smeared with tears and snot.
"You weren't laughing quite so much when you were cornering girls, were you?"
She stands up, steps on his fingers with the toe of her shoe, and grinds down. A crisp sound of bone cracking echoes.
"If I see you again, I'll cripple your entire hand."
Jiu and Lao Gui watch silently from the side. Having followed Sister Sui for three years, they know she is actually being "gentle" today—at least she didn't break his legs.
Yu Sui reaches into her pocket to pull out another cigarette, sticks it in her mouth, and is about to light it—
A very faint, hesitant footstep comes from the alley entrance.
She turns around.
Standing in the light is a girl. Light-colored hoodie, canvas bag, holding a bag of snacks from the convenience store. Her eyes are wide open, staring at the scene in the alley—three thugs with bloody faces, two burly men in black, and a woman with silver hair, a cigarette in her mouth, and her foot still pressing down on someone's fingers.
The air freezes.
Jiu’s hand has already moved to the dagger at his waist, his eyes alert as he looks at Yu Sui, waiting for a signal.
Yu Sui raises a hand, stopping him.
"You saw it?"
You stand rooted to the spot, not knowing what to say, your body beginning to break out in a cold sweat.
Yu Sui raises an eyebrow, "Come here."Please log in to continue the conversation.
