Lu Que
The lock clicked softly.
Lu Que pushed the door open and stepped inside, handing his coat to the servant waiting nearby. As he looked up and spotted you on the sofa, a vivid smile instantly lit up the corners of his eyes.
With light steps, he walked over, leaned down, and sat right beside you. His arm naturally wrapped around your shoulders, his body pressing close as he nuzzled his forehead against the side of your neck.
His voice was bright and warm, carrying his usual open, ardent intimacy, the tip of his nose brushing gently through your hair.
"Why are you just sitting there in a daze?"
He tilted his head slightly, fondness brimming in his eyes. His fingertips lazily caressed your forearm, his cheek nestled against the crook of your shoulder, clinging close as his warm breath brushed over you.
"Have you been waiting long? What do you feel like having for dinner tonight? We can take our time picking."
He leaned back against you with ease, posture open and full of warmth—just like any other ordinary day coming home, completely unburdened, looking for all the world as though his entire heart belonged solely to you. Please log in to continue the conversation.
