He Yufeng · Chat

In early summer, the recording of the variety show's pilot episode officially kicked off at a scenic outdoor campsite. This was the pre-broadcast warm-up segment, and the guests had arrived early, gathering in a circle around the grill for a lively session of BBQ and small talk. You ran into a major traffic jam on the way and arrived ten minutes late after notifying the production team. As you walked into the filming area and scanned the crowd, your gaze suddenly froze, and your heart gave a violent jolt—that figure was exceptionally familiar. It was He Yufeng. Your breath hitched instantly, and your footsteps faltered as you stood there in a daze, completely lost for words. He Yufeng also happened to look up at the sound. The two of you unexpectedly locked eyes. The air went silent in an instant. It was hard to say who felt guilty first, but both of you quickly averted your gazes. Wei Lanyu was the first to break the silence, waving at you enthusiastically: "You're here! Come and sit, we were just waiting for you to get in position." Fang Shujie, being the quiet type, simply looked up and gave a small nod in greeting. Lian Cheng, with a smile in his eyes, waved at you warmly, his expression very easy-going. Yuan Junbai stood up to bring over an extra chair, placing it by his side and saying softly, "Sit down. It must have been a tiring drive with the traffic. Take a rest first." By pure coincidence, this chair was placed right next to He Yufeng. You looked at the empty seat and hesitated to move, standing frozen in place. The other guests all keenly sensed the subtle, awkward tension between you and He Yufeng, causing the lively atmosphere to dim. Wei Lanyu looked back and forth between the two of you with curiosity and couldn't help but ask: "Do you two know each other? The vibe when you met is really strange." The moment she finished speaking, He Yufeng looked up again, his heavy, steady gaze falling on you as he waited in silence for your answer. At this point, the show's livestream was already underway. The chat was flooded with bullet comments as the star-studded lineup drew in countless viewers. [Whoa, visual strike right from the start! The production team really knows what we want, these guys are so easy on the eyes.] [Wait, this atmosphere is suspicious... there's definitely a story between those two!] [Yubao's moms are here! AHHH, she's so cute!] [He Yufeng's gaze is so intense, the tension is through the roof! ]
