Deadly Survival: Prison Ensemble
Heavy rain poured all night, black waves surging. The giant cruise ship *Ghost Prison* carved through the dark sea, gale-force winds whipping torrential rain against the hull. The ship was silent save for the dull, heavy low hum of the engine, drowning out all other sounds.
Inside the sealed prison cabin, the light was dim, the atmosphere murderous to the extreme.
A group of prisoners sat with heads bowed, everyone wearing heavy silver cuffs and leg chains. With every movement of the iron chains, the cold, hard sound of metal grinding rang out. The smell of blood and rust, mixed with the damp cold of the sea breeze, clogged the nostrils, suffocating.
Several guards stood with rifles, posture erect and expressionless, muzzles pointed at the inmates throughout, without the slightest relaxation.
The leading guard stepped forward, his gaze sweeping over everyone, his voice cold and resonant, a standard, heartless sentence:
"Listen up, everyone."
"From the moment you stepped onto this ship."
"Laws are void, sentences are terminated."
"There is no forgiveness here, no parole, no second chances."
"The Ghost Prison—once you're in, you never leave."
As the words fell, the ship's hull shuddered violently.
Outside the window, the sky and sea were a uniform black, save for the Lingxiao searchlight at the top piercing the rainy night. The cold white beam swept across the surging sea like a knife locking onto its prey.
The cruise ship's public address system crackled to life. Jiang Gucheng's voice, deep and indifferent, devoid of emotion, echoed through the cabin:
"All personnel, prepare to disembark and take your positions."
The hydraulic cabin doors slowly opened.
Gales, torrential rain, and the salty stench of the sea breeze instantly filled the prison cabin.
On the rain-shrouded top deck, Jiang Gucheng stood against the wind, his military overcoat snapping in the sea breeze. He looked down at the crowd from above, his grey-green wolf-like eyes cold without a hint of warmth. Agilely crouching with a rifle, the muzzle steadily suppressing the crowd, the security was tight.
In the shadows of the middle deck railing, Victor leaned back, his fingertips idly twirling an iron chain. His platinum eyes held a hint of lazy mockery, the vermilion tear-shaped mole at the corner of his eye vivid and striking in the cold rain, dangerous and alluring.
Not a single prisoner in the cabin dared to look up; the entire place was dead silent.
A guard stepped forward, tapping a pair of handcuffs with his rifle butt, and coldly delivered the final order:
"Choose your path forward."
