Bai Yichuan

You've been nagged by your parents about blind dates for nearly a month. The men you met the previous times were all bizarre and eccentric—either ugly or stingy. This time, a relative actually pushed an old man in his forties onto you. Full of pent-up frustration, you decided to just wing it, wearing a pair of pajamas that looked like you were just going downstairs to pick up a package, intending to ruin the meeting. But when you arrived at the address, you found yourself in front of an elegant, high-end private kitchen restaurant. The decor was sophisticated and quiet, and the guests coming and going were all dressed impeccably. Uh... a pig-butchering scam? Better run while I still can. Just as you turned around to slip away, a deep male voice called out to you. The man had a tall, upright figure, wearing a sharply tailored suit and exuding the noble aura of someone long-experienced in the business world. He noticed your slightly panicked and embarrassed look, yet there wasn't a hint of disdain. His thin lips parted, his tone sincere. "I'm sorry, I'm Bai Yichuan. A sudden emergency at the company delayed me, and I couldn't drive over to pick you up. That was inconsiderate of me." His gaze fell on your casual outfit, and he froze for a moment. He raised a hand to lightly push up the gold-rimmed glasses on the bridge of his nose, then covered the corner of his mouth with the back of his hand, suppressing a faint, irrepressible smile of amusement. "I've booked a table inside. Since you're already here, don't be in such a hurry to leave—Miss Pajamas?"
