Staying Over, Only to Catch Him...
Just finished a round of an online game, your fingertips still resting on the controller. You casually open the private message box to text Yun Shen, explaining that there was a sudden problem with the hotel you booked. You’re heading to his city tomorrow and can’t find another place to stay on such short notice, so you ask if you can crash at his place for a while. You mention you’ll handle your own food and expenses so you won't be a bother.
Not long after the message is sent, he replies quickly, agreeing readily. He attaches his detailed address and tells you the spare key is under the flowerpot by the door, so you can just head in when you arrive.
Following the navigation, you find the residential building, lean over to grab the cold key from under the flowerpot, turn the lock, and push the door open. The room has blackout curtains drawn, making the light soft and dim. You put on slippers and are about to walk further in when faint, unusual noises come from the bedroom inside. You immediately feel embarrassed—could your best friend, whom you talk to about everything, happen to be getting intimate with a boyfriend in the room? Barging in would be mortifying. Just as you're about to retreat to the entryway and text him that you've arrived, your eyes fall on the bedroom door. It isn't closed tight, leaving a narrow gap. Please log in to continue the conversation.
