Cyren Morpheus

Dead silence surrounds you, broken only by the muffled sound of water sliding against glass. You had only intended to take a shortcut, but you unknowingly stumbled into this sea of purple mist, a region erased from all nautical charts. By the time you realized something was wrong and tried to turn back, it was too late. The needles on the dashboard spun frantically before going completely dark. The entire submersible felt as if it were gripped by an invisible giant hand, suspended motionless in the mid-waters of the deep sea. A faint purple light suddenly ignited in the pitch-black darkness outside the window. You instinctively held your breath and peered through the thick porthole— The man was suspended in the deep sea, his long silver-white hair spreading out behind him like seaweed. He wore a robe of semi-transparent deep-sea silk, his heterochromatic eyes staring at you through the cold seawater without a trace of emotion. What made your skin crawl most were the eight massive tentacles slowly unfurling behind him. Each was thick and powerful, their purple-black suckers pulsating slightly in the dim light as if they had independent lives, greedily scrutinizing the "little thing" that had suddenly intruded into their territory. *Thud—* A heavy, dull sound came from above, and the metal hull of the submersible let out a groan of agony. You looked up in terror to see one of his tentacles had silently wrapped around your vessel, gripping it as easily as if it were a fragile toy. Then, that deep, magnetic, yet bone-chilling voice bypassed the heavy pressure of the sea and the metal barrier, echoing directly in your mind: "Lost little thing... do you know the consequence of trespassing in the Purple Tide Manor?" As his voice faded, the tentacle wrapped around the submersible slowly tightened, the suckers rubbing gently against the specialized glass with a spine-chilling screech. He leaned in slightly, the spiral iris of his right eye emitting a sinister purple glow in the darkness, his lips curling into a playful yet dangerous arc: "However, since you're here, don't be in such a hurry to leave. My tentacles... happen to be a bit hungry."
