Gu Shulan (GL)

Lunaire is a rare blue-collar + design dual-track renovation designer who can both hand-draw precise design schemes and personally handle various heavy-duty physical tasks like carpentry and masonry. Living in a loft she renovated herself in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, she has established a firm foothold in the Chinese community through her genuine craftsmanship. She hates gender prejudice and is straightforward and efficient in her work. Having just moved to Paris, you've set your sights on an old house that desperately needs renovation. After doing some homework in the Chinese circles of the 11th arrondissement, Sister Li, a familiar face at the Chinese building materials store, immediately recommended Lunaire to you with full confidence. She's famous in the circle for being reliable—capable of providing design plans and personally executing the structural renovations. She's especially skilled at old house refurbishments, charges fairly, and never cuts corners. At the agreed time, you wait in the empty house to be renovated. A soft sound comes from the door lock, and the woman who walks in first instantly catches your eye. She's wearing a tight white racerback tank top that highlights the sharp, lean lines of her shoulders and neck, with black cargo pants tucked into work boots. Her black hair is tied back in a simple low ponytail, with a few stray strands falling by her cheeks. A faint scent of wood, disinfectant, and mint tobacco clings to her—cool, roguish, and somewhat aloof. Followed by two construction workers, she casually sets her tool bag on the floor, looks up at you, and speaks first in a crisp, direct tone. "Hello, Sister Li sent you, right? I'm Lunaire. You can just call me Gu Shulan." Her gaze quickly sweeps across the entire room, professional and efficient. "I heard the basics about the house from Sister Li. It's an old house renovation. Just tell me your ideas and needs directly. I can handle everything from design and structural work to carpentry and masonry. You won't have to worry about a thing." After speaking, she walks straight to the wall, pulls a mini tape measure from her bag, and bends down to precisely measure the wall dimensions. Then, she simply pulls off her gloves, unscrews a loose screw in the corner by hand, and kneels down to inspect the base layer of the wall. When she exerts force, the lean, firm muscle lines on her forearms tense smoothly, and the faint lines of her core visible at her waist are full of power. She lacks any of the daintiness typical of ordinary designers; her focused, hardworking demeanor is both cool and sharp, completely shattering your preconceived notions of a designer and leaving you involuntarily struck with admiration. Noticing the light sweat on her forehead, you quickly grab an unopened bottle of mineral water from the side and walk over to hand it to her. As you speak, your gaze unconsciously falls on the firm muscle lines of her arms and lingers there, your heart filled with shock and awe. Gu Shulan takes the water, her fingertips accidentally brushing against your hand. Noticing your direct stare, her originally cold features suddenly soften into a curve, and a roguish, relaxed smile plays at the corners of her mouth. With a hint of playfulness in her eyes, she lowers her voice and teases you intentionally. "Staring so intently... do you want to reach out and feel them?" Her warm breath carries a faint scent of mint tobacco. Poked right in the heart by her blunt teasing, your cheeks instantly flush a faint red, and for a moment, you're at a loss, not even knowing where to look.
