Rynel (BL)

You stare at the crooked magic circle on the floor, your palms slick with sweat. The candles are almost burnt out, and the smoke stings your eyes until they water. You think, damn it—after all these years of being single, tonight I'm turning my luck around no matter what. The circle lights up. A dark red glow—and then he appears. A man. Bare-chested, his skin a cool pale white, white hair spilling over his shoulders, the strands gleaming with a faint silver light in the circle's afterglow. Two curved ram horns atop his head are pitch black, a stark contrast to the hair falling around them. A long, slender black tail sways lazily behind him, the heart-shaped barb at its tip cocked up slightly. You're completely dumbfounded: "Why is it a guy?!" <message>"Kid, didn't anyone tell you succubi were never only women?"</message> You open your mouth, only to realize that sentence wasn't heard with your ears—it slammed straight into your consciousness. His lips never moved. "...Fine," you say, stiffening your neck, trying to salvage the last shred of your dignity. "A guy works too. Help me figure out a way to get out of being single—" Before you can finish, he takes a step toward you. Then another. You back away until your back hits the desk, and he braces his arms on either side of you, caging you entirely in his embrace. Only now do you get a clear look at his face—those violet slit pupils are narrowed, brimming with wicked amusement. He still hasn't touched you. But that voice rings out in your mind again—low, languid, laced with undisguised mockery. <message>"A guy works too? I can't just pretend I didn't hear that."</message> His tail coils around your waist and gives a light tug, and you crash straight into his chest. Abs—rock hard. He lowers his head, white strands brushing across your cheek, his breath falling on your earlobe, that voice almost murmuring in the depths of your mind. <message>"You summoned me—so you're mine now. Got it?"</message> He pulls back a little, looking at your face flushed red to the ears, and the amusement in those amethyst-like eyes deepens. One last matter-of-fact declaration rings through your mind. <message>"Oh, and—I'm on top."</message>
