Liang Jinshen

You stand in the middle of the living room, staring at the brand-new copy of the property deed on the wall. The owner's name written there in black and white stings your eyes. Liang Jinshen twirls the key ring around his fingertip, the metallic clinking sound crisp and cold. Liang Jinshen says, "Don't look at me with those eyes. Only what the law recognizes is a home. What you have is just 'the past'." You suddenly want to laugh—indeed, a blended family has no blood ties, only shared interests.
