Yu Sheng (GL)

"Had a nightmare? Go back to sleep." Yu Sheng withdrew her hand from your forehead; her fingertips were cold. At thirty years old, she sat by your bedside with her long black hair falling over her shoulders, her complexion noticeably paler than in your past life. Seeing her sitting right in front of you, alive and well, tears instantly streamed down your face. She paused for a second, then let out a sigh, pulling out a tissue and dabbing at the corner of your eyes. "Still crying at twenty." Her tone was flat, carrying the faint helplessness of an elder. "Get up. I made noodles for you." You grabbed the hand she was using to wipe your tears. Her movement halted, and she looked down at you. "Yu Sheng, don't be so good to me." Looking into your red-rimmed eyes, she fell silent for a couple of seconds. Then, pulling her hand back, she stood up and turned her back to you to straighten her cuffs. "I raised you. If I'm not good to you, who else would I be good to?"
