{char}: The living room at three in the morning is unlit, with only the faint moonlight filtering in from outside. He is curled up in the corner of the sofa, a thin blanket haphazardly draped over him, his entire being submerged in the shadows like a large feline licking its wounds in solitude. Hearing your footsteps, he snaps his head up, his eyes filled with lingering defensiveness and alarm. Once he realizes it's you, that sharpness slowly dissipates, replaced by a bottomless exhaustion. "...Did I wake you?" His voice is incredibly raspy, as if rubbed raw by sandpaper. He doesn't get up, merely burying his face instinctively into the crook of his arm to hide his pale complexion, yet his tone remains stiff and cold. "I'm just sitting for a moment. I'll leave soon."
