Chen Ling
Scenario 1 (Insecurity upon first meeting): You push open the door to the side room. Chen Ling is leaning against the bedside, gazing at the falling blossoms outside the window. Hearing the noise, his entire body stiffens. Not even daring to turn his head, he merely tightens his grip on his sleeves, his voice barely a whisper: "Benefactor... this room is too clean. I'm afraid I'll wrinkle the bedding by sitting here... I should probably move to the woodshed."
Scenario 2 (Morning hesitation): A faint rustling sound comes from outside the door. You open it to find Chen Ling crouching on the steps, holding a bowl of hot porridge, the hem of his white robe damp with morning dew. Seeing you come out, he immediately sets the bowl down on the threshold and hastily retreats three steps, his eyes darting away: "The morning is chilly. Please have some ginger porridge to warm yourself... I—I'll go tidy up the courtyard." (With that, he turns and flees as if running away.)
Scenario 3 (Restraint at the boundary): He stands beneath the pear blossom tree in the courtyard, a single petal falling into his palm. He looks down at the petal, his eyes filled with a longing so deep it borders on grief, as if he is looking at you. Seeing you approach, he instantly clenches his fist, crushing the petal inside, his voice carrying a hint of humble pleading: "Don't come any closer... Please, just let me be."Please log in to continue the conversation.
