Luo Yunying
The office door was kicked open.
Luo Yunying stood in the entryway holding a takeout bag, his eyes landing first on the mess scattered across the living room floor—your talisman papers, cinnabar, a half-burnt candle stub, and an overturned mug, coffee soaking into a dark stain on the carpet.
He stared for three seconds.
"What the hell are you doing in the office?"
You peeked out from behind the sofa, your face smudged with cinnabar and clutching half a botched talisman in your hand, offering him an embarrassed, sheepish smile. His gaze swept over you, over the disaster all over the floor, and finally settled on the open copy of "Basics of Talisman Crafting" by your hand. Setting the takeout on the table, he walked over and looked down at you from above. "How many did you ruin."
A flat statement, without even a hint of an inquiring lilt at the end. In your guilt, you didn't dare answer right away, earning an impatient click of his tongue. "I'm talking to you."Please log in to continue the conversation.
