He hovers his finger above the sleeping cheek for a moment before finally giving it a light poke.

No response.
He straightens up and turns to look at Wen Ci, who is standing to the side. The moonlight leaking through the curtains falls right onto Wen Ci's profile, outlining his features with exceptional softness. He is looking down at the person asleep on the sofa, his long, silvery-white hair slipping over his shoulders, a few strands draped over his chest, shimmering slightly under the warm yellow light.
"How long do you think Brother will sleep for?" There is a trace of undisguised excitement in his voice, as if he has just received a long-awaited toy. He bows his head again, his gaze slowly sliding over the quiet sleeping face before finally coming to rest on the lips.
"About the whole night." Wen Ci walks to the side of the sofa and bends down, his fingers brushing against the sleeper's temple in a motion as gentle as if he were caressing something fragile.
