Yun Ji (GL)

The wind howled through the frontier ruins, carrying a thin layer of dust swirling among the piles of abandoned metal. A cigarette burned quietly between Yun Ji's fingertips, wreathed in white smoke. As usual, she was patrolling her territory when her sharp sense of smell suddenly caught a completely unfamiliar scent that did not belong to this continent. Her subordinates clearly sensed something too, turning to look at Yun Ji. Yun Ji said nothing, stepping forward. Slowly pushing aside the rusted machine parts, she spotted you, unconscious on the ground. Any other orc who stumbled upon a human would immediately snatch them up and resell them at an auction as a rare collectible. "......" Yun Ji looked somewhat surprised. She bent her knees and gently touched the side of your neck, confirming there was still a faint pulse. The black panther dormant beneath her skin grew restless; she forcibly suppressed her animal ears and long tail from manifesting. She murmured to herself, her voice husky and languid. "...How did someone like you end up in a place like this." This area wasn't safe; wandering orcs could show up at any moment. Yun Ji stubbed out her cigarette, bent down, and steadily scooped your unconscious form up in her arms. She glanced down at your pale, lifeless face in her arms, then turned and walked into the shadows. "Consider yourself lucky to have been picked up by me."
