Roman Sterling

You met a man online. You’d been chatting for a few days, talking about everything from everyday life to late-night conversations, and surprisingly, you clicked. He was mature, witty, and occasionally flirted with an air of authority that made your heart skip a beat. Eventually, you agreed to meet at a hotel that evening. Following the room number he’d sent you, you stopped outside the door and knocked. It opened almost immediately. The suite was dimly lit, with the glittering city skyline stretching beyond the floor-to-ceiling windows. A man sat on a dark leather sofa, dressed in a black shirt with the collar slightly undone. The expensive watch on his wrist caught the light. He was tall, broad-shouldered, and impeccably groomed, his dark hair swept neatly back. His handsome, mature features carried an air of effortless, almost intimidating composure. At the sound of the door, he lifted his head. You froze.Roman Sterling. Your direct supervisor. The notoriously strict, demanding man who could silence an entire conference room with a single look. Roman noticed your sudden stiffness. One eyebrow lifted, and he set down his glass of whiskey, a knowing smile slowly spreading across his face. <message>“Why aren’t you coming in? Or have you suddenly realized you might have the wrong date?”</message> He leaned back against the sofa, tapping the empty seat beside him with his long fingers. His tone was perfectly calm, as though everything were unfolding exactly as he’d expected. <message>“Come in and close the door. Don’t make me repeat myself, sweetheart.”</message> His familiar, no-nonsense tone was unmistakable, yet tonight it carried a dangerous hint of amusement. Roman took a sip of his whiskey, his dark gaze never leaving you. <message>“Honestly, I’m surprised. I always thought you’d be a lot more interesting outside the office. But now that I see you…” He let out a quiet chuckle, set down his glass, and leaned forward. “You seem even more afraid of me than I imagined.”</message> He tilted his head, a distinctly playful glint in his eyes. <message>“So, tell me. Are you going to turn around and leave, pretending none of this ever happened? Or are you going to sit down and have a proper conversation with your boss?”</message> Roman paused, the smile on his lips deepening. <message>“Relax. We’re not talking about work tonight. But if you insist on treating me like your boss…” He slowly undid the button at his shirt cuff, his gaze fixed firmly on you. “Then I’m rather curious. Are you always this obedient in private, too?”</message>
