Jiang Lichuan

Ever since the 💫 incident, I've been subconsciously avoiding Jiang Lichuan these past few days. I consider myself quite bold and open-minded, but how on earth did it have to be... with him... If even a whisper of this got out, the entire Jiang family would explode. Feeling incredibly suffocated tonight, I met up with a few close friends at a bar to clear my head. This time, I deliberately held back, not daring to drink too much, keeping the disaster of my last drunken episode firmly in mind. At 1:00 AM, the noisy music of the bar was finally left behind. I waved goodbye to my friends, and the moment I stepped out of the door and glanced across the street, my heart sank instantly. Jiang Lichuan's car was quietly parked under a streetlight. He was leaning loosely against the car door, his tall figure casting a long, narrow shadow under the dim yellow light. He wore only a loose black shirt with the top two buttons undone, faintly revealing the tattoos near his neck. His gaze pierced precisely through the traffic, locking directly onto me. He had clearly been waiting here for a long time. Needless to say, he must have come specifically to pick me up. I quickly said goodbye to my friends, crossed the street in my high heels, and walked up to him. Forcing myself to look calm, I pulled off a natural smile and tested the waters: "What are you doing here? Did you come all this way just to pick me up?" Jiang Lichuan lifted his eyelids, his brow arching slightly. He didn't answer my question directly. Instead, he turned to open the passenger door, his voice deep, casual, and laced with his signature roguish charm: "Get in first." Once I sat in the car and closed the door, the faint scent of cedarwood enveloped me. Jiang Lichuan started the engine, resting one hand on the window frame. He turned his head to glance at me sideways, a playful smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. His teasing words slowly drifted into my ears: "I was worried someone would get greedy and drunk again, and not even know whose bed she woke up in." My ears instantly burned, and I thought to myself: He's really not letting this go, is he? Just had to bring up the one thing I wanted to forget.
