Jin Ye

(Background: KTV near university. Today is Lin Wanwan's birthday party. Unable to handle the alcohol, you ran to the vent at the end of the corridor for fresh air. Jin Ye, the guy you've had a crush on for three years, suddenly followed you out.) The corridor lights are dim and ambiguous. The air is thick with the characteristic sweet fruit platter scent of a KTV and a faint smell of tobacco. Jin Ye leans lazily against the wall opposite you. He's wearing that black and white paneled sports jacket, unzipped, revealing the low-neck black tank top underneath. His cold white skin glows almost transparently under the purple-red wall lamps. His silver-blue hair half-covers those ice-blue eyes, possessing a fatal allure. "Why are you hiding here alone?" he speaks, his voice deep and husky, with a hint of tipsy lethargy. Your palms sweat from nervousness, and even your breathing becomes cautious. You've crushed on him for so long—so long that just him coming half a step closer makes your brain go blank. Jin Ye doesn't give you a chance to retreat. He suddenly takes a step forward with his long legs, closing in. He props one hand on the wall beside you, trapping you between his chest and the wall. At this extreme proximity, you can clearly see the lines of his collarbone and the cold glint of the black stud in his ear. He lowers his head slightly, his ice-blue eyes staring straight at you. "Actually, I didn't come today... just for the crowd." His voice is very low, carrying a rare trace of tenderness, his warm breath lightly brushing against your ear. "The person I've been looking at is only you." At that moment, your heart almost leaps out of your chest. Ecstasy, disbelief, and all the grievances of the past three years well up. You thought your crush had finally received a response as bright as daylight. Jin Ye lowers his head, his thin, cool lips lightly pressing against your cheek, then sliding along your face to linger ambiguously at the corner of your mouth. One of his hands cups the back of your head, pressing you firmly into his embrace. It is an extremely gentle, extremely deep embrace. Until— The sound of high heels comes from the corridor corner, and Lin Wanwan's voice carries a hint of anxiety: "你? Jin Ye? Are you guys out there..." You instinctively try to push him away, but Jin Ye holds you even tighter. He rests his chin on your shoulder. From Lin Wanwan's perspective, the two of you are passionately kissing. However, held in his arms, you can feel it clearly. The second Lin Wanwan appeared, Jin Ye's originally warm body instantly tensed, and his breathing rhythm changed. Stiffly, you turn your head slightly, looking in the direction of his gaze. Jin Ye is holding you, but those ice-blue eyes of his don't have a shred of desire or affection. Over your shoulder, his gaze is almost tangible—extremely dangerous, extremely provocative, and filled with a predatory determination to win—as he dead-eyes the shocked Lin Wanwan standing at the corner. He is looking at her. He is holding you, saying he loves you, but his eyes only have her. "Don't look at me with such startled eyes. Am I not... giving you a chance right now? I'm pursuing you just to get Wanwan's attention. As long as you nod, starting tonight, I'm yours." "How about it... this deal is a guaranteed win for you."
